X-Stream synthetic urine is a premixed solution designed to mimic human urine for passing drug tests. In this review,
I’ll unbox the kit, discuss its advantages and disadvantages, and show you how to use it.
- Flip-up spout cap: Easy to use in a drug testing room.
- Affordable price.
- Two-year shelf life.
- No stealth method included.
- Regular heat pad: Can overheat and cause skin burns.
- Suitable for single use only.
What’s in the Kit
Let’s unbox it and see what’s included in the kit.
Urine
The urine is of regular quality, which is good if it won’t be tested with UrineCheck 7 or other tests that detect synthetic urine. This urine is unisex, so both males and females can use it.
The color of the urine is good but a bit pale. I think they used less powder to mix it to cut costs.
This color and concentration should be okay for the drug test, but I need to verify it with a urine validity test.
For a drug test, you’ll need 1-1.5 oz of urine. The kit contains 3 oz, so it’s enough for two tests.
However, the manufacturer says it should be used only once, so you cannot store the remaining urine for future tests. The shelf life of the urine is two years.
Bottle
The kit includes a regular flat bottle that can be put in your pants. However, I prefer other methods to hide fake urine because putting the bottle in your pants makes it inconvenient to walk with and use.
To hide this bottle conveniently, you need to get a stealth leg belt or some other sneaking method.
The bottle comes with a temperature strip attached, so you can easily check the urine temperature before submitting the sample.
Some temperature strips show the temperature wrong, which can lead to a failed drug test. I always check with a digital thermometer to ensure accuracy.
As you can see in the photo below, the thermometer shows 91.4°F, while the temperature strip shows 94°F. The temperature strip is not very accurate.
If you decide to use this kit, I recommend warming the urine until the temperature strip shows 94-96°F. This way, you’ll definitely be in the required temperature range.
Cap
The kit has a flip-up spout cap, which is great. This cap is already attached to the bottle, unlike other kits where it’s a separate item.
In the drug test room, most people are nervous. Unscrewing and screwing back a cap can be difficult and easy to spill the urine.
With a flip-up spout cap, it’s easy since you can do it with one finger. The cap is tough to open, so it won’t accidentally spill under your clothes.
Heating Methods
This kit includes only one heating pad. Heating pads are the most common way to keep the urine warm for a drug test.
This pad is a regular heat pad used for warming hands or feet in cold environments. According to the information on the heat pad, it can heat up to 165°F.
That’s too much and can overheat the urine. Imagine standing in the drug testing room, taking out the urine bottle, and seeing it’s overheated.
Temporary overheating won’t ruin the urine, but you need a way to cool it down. You only have four minutes to submit the sample, so this can be a problem you don’t want to have.
Next, 165°F is too hot for the skin and can cause burns.
If you hide the urine bottle with the attached heat pad in your pants, you definitely don’t want to feel extra heat and get burns.
The heat pad doesn’t have an adhesive side. To attach it and keep it close to the bottle, you need to use the rubber band included in the kit.
The rubber band can fall off in your pocket or pants. That’s why I prefer pads with adhesive sides.
This heat pad can keep warmth for up to eight hours, according to its description. I’d better count on six hours to be on the safe side.
It takes about an hour to warm the urine to 100°F, so if you need to warm it quickly, you need to microwave it.

How to Use X-Stream to Pass a Drug Test
The kit comes with instructions printed on the box.
(SINGLE USE ONLY. Once opened and heated, must discard after SINGLE use.)
- Shake well, unscrew the cap, and remove the tamper-evident seal. Discard the seal. Place the bottle in the middle of the microwave for 10-15 seconds until the temperature strip reads between 94-100°F. If the temperature strip doesn’t read right away, don’t be alarmed. The sample is either too cold or hot; give it a minute. If the temperature is not met, reheat for 5-10 seconds to get to 94-100°F. You can reheat the bottle to meet your desired temperature needs. The product is ONLY good for 24 hours once opened and heated.
- After heating the bottle, remove the cap and screw on the supplied flip squirt cap. Shake the bottle well.
- Remove the enclosed heat pad from the plastic pouch and shake the contents to activate. The heat pad will activate within 10 to 15 minutes and is most effective in an enclosed space, like your pocket. Next, attach the peel-and-stick self-adhesive heat pad to the bottle on the opposite side of the temperature strip. This will ensure a proper temperature reading. The heat pad will maintain the desired temperature for up to 8 hours.
To heat this product, simply attach the supplied heat pad directly to the bottle on the opposite side of the temperature strip and store the bottle close to your body.
Depending on the ambient temperature, the product could take up to 1 hour to reach a temperature range of 94-100°F.
Conclusion
X-Stream is a basic synthetic urine kit that can be used one time.
It’s cheap, so if you need to pass an unimportant drug test that won’t check for synthetic urine, you can give it a try.
However, if the outcome of the drug test is important, like for a life-changing job, I recommend using more reliable options.
