Susan Clarke embarked on her professional path with a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. The quest for deeper knowledge led her to acquire a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Susan’s heart has always been set on geriatric nursing, which drove her to dedicate her career to bettering healthcare delivery to elderly populations in urban settings. Before joining the NORC Aging in Place Initiative, she had a fulfilling tenure managing healthcare programs at a leading NYC-based nonprofit dedicated to elder care. Susan brought with her a wealth of knowledge on preventive healthcare and chronic disease management, crucial for serving the aging population. Her prowess in collaborative working and program management has seen the healthcare arm of the initiative thrive, ensuring the elderly receive top-notch healthcare services, thus significantly contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life.
